Technical Support Manager
Fast-growing independent Internet company conveniently located in downtown Salem is seeking a Technical Support Manager.
Job Functions Include
- Manage a growing five-person Technical Support department
- Support our clients who use our email newsletter services
- Manage support tickets and escalate level 2 and 3 tickets as needed
- Benchmark, analyze, and measure department performance
- Develop and provide support programs for customers
- Formulate and implement process and service improvements
- Train and develop the technical support team skills
- Assist team in career development plans
- Provide prospective clients with pre-sales support
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven customer service and technical support experience
- 2+ years experience in a supervisory role
- Ability to grow and effectively manage a cohesive support team
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, web design topics
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of web based services, e-mail, domain names, e-commerce
- Organized and detail oriented
- Current on latest developments in IT technology
- Available "on-call" occasionally as needed
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
Hours: Full time 8-5 or 9-6 M-F
