Account Executive

Primary Purpose of Position:

  • Responsible for driving subscription based revenue (MRR) by following up on leads, qualifying, and closing viable deals as well as proactively cross-selling and up-selling within current customer base as may be assigned.

Essential Functions:

  • Must have previous sales experience working with or for:
    • Email service providers
    • Marketing agencies
    • Software companies
    • Or have a proven grasp of marketing fundamentals and best practices for digital marketing.
  • Or have a proven grasp of marketing fundamentals and best practices for digital marketing.
  • Experience in vertical markets such as political, consumer goods, health care, hospitability, and finance a plus.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Successful sales experience with 3+ years’ experience
  • Successful prospecting plan
  • Experience in direct marketing or email marketing in the software solutions environment and or internet technologies
  • History of attaining and exceeding outbound sales revenue objectives
  • Experience selling marketing technologies and services across a range of verticals including retail, financial services, media, technology, telecommunications, and travel
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation
  • Ability to process and manage sales leads by email, phone, live web chat, and in person
  • Organized and goal oriented
  • High level of computer knowledge including full use of Microsoft office, Sales Force and similar CRM tools

Reporting Stucture:

  • This position reports to the President.
