Net Atlantic Employees Spread Holiday Cheer with MCJROTC's Toys for Tots Drive

Each year, The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation relies on the generous donations of the American public and corporate partners to deliver gifts to needy children.

This year Salem-based Net Atlantic, a leading provider of Email Marketing Solutions, teamed up with the Salem High School Marine Corps Junior ROTC (MCJROTC), to collect toys for local children, to ensure their holidays are as enjoyable as those that are more fortunate. Net Atlantic placed a collection bin inside their office and encouraged employees to drop off their new, unwrapped toys in the bins for distribution by the MCJROTC. It was a great day when Cadet Captain Mike Rosengren and Cadet Second Lieutenant Freddie Curtin of the Salem High School Marine Corps Junior ROTC came to join in the fun and pick up the toys to share the magic of Christmas.

"We have been very successful in previous charitable giving campaigns and look forward to another strong showing of support from our employees, as we work together with the MCJROTC for this great cause."

Toys for Tots began in 1947 when Major Bill Hendricks, USCR and a group of Marine Reservists in Los Angeles collected and distributed 5,000 toys to needy children. Since then the organization has grown exponentially and has become a staple of goodwill during the holiday season.

"As this is the season of giving, it's important to remember the less fortunate in our community," said Angela Maione, Marketing Manager and Head Chair of the Volunteer Committee at Net Atlantic. "Net Atlantic is proud to be teaming up with Salem High’s MCJROTC to promote the annual Toys for Tots toy drive. We collected approximately four dozen toys, so the Christmas season will be a little more enjoyable for some local children this year thanks to the generosity of Net Atlantic employees."
