Announcing the Fifth Annual Net Atlantic Scholarship

SALEM, MA. – February, 2013 – Salem email marketing firm Net Atlantic offers two college scholarships for 2013.

SALEM, MA. – February 25, 2012 – Email service provider Net Atlantic, Inc. has been offering local students college scholarships over the last four years. This year Net Atlantic will be awarding two North Shore students $2,000 each to be used toward a four-year college degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Computer Science, or IT.  This year's applicants can choose to apply to either the Academic and Leadership Achievement or the Science and Technology Achievement. 

Previous recipients of scholarships have been Katherine E. Melanson of Danvers, Erica L. Fleming of Danvers, Amanda Lake of Danvers, Jenny Morris of Marblehead, Lawrence Cheung of Lynn, and Casey Little, Lorjan Karagjozi and Melissa Simons of Salem. These eight students each won for their commitment to their education, for displaying leadership amongst their peers and for the moving essays they submitted as part of their scholarship application. Net Atlantic has been very fortunate to have a few of these students return to Salem from their chosen colleges and universities to pursue internships with the email marketing company.

"Students continue to impress us with their dedication to academic success. This year we decided to gear the two scholarships to better suit the applicant’s strengths. I look forward to what this year will bring."

After collecting over forty qualifying applicants last year the Scholarship Committee at Net Atlantic has decided to maintain the same qualifications. Students graduating in 2013 from public and private schools in Salem, Peabody, Lynn, Lynnfield, Beverly, Danvers, Marblehead, and Swampscott will be eligible to participate in the program. The Net Atlantic scholarship also requires students to maintain grades above a 3.0 GPA and complete the application process.

Candidates for the scholarship must submit an application and an essay indicating their qualifications through the Net Atlantic website, email, or by US mail. The company encourages any submission that allows students to best show their passion, innovation, and brilliance.
